So you’d like to be a mentor? Great! In order to ensure great mentoring match and for the safety of our children we have screening and training process that all mentors must complete. Below are the steps you should take to become a mentor through Youth Horizons.
Step 1
Fill out the mentoring interest form on our website
Step 2
Someone from Youth Horizons will contact to you answer any questions that you have about mentoring.
Step 3
Fill out the complete mentoring application and submit verification for us to conduct background checks.
Step 4
Schedule an interview with Youth Horizons mentoring staff
Step 5
Attend new mentor orientation
Step 6
You are all ready to go! Now you just need to be matched with a child.
