New Mentoring Director – Tim Rorabaugh
A note from Tim:
In 2007 I was first introduced to Youth Horizons, and quickly stepped up to become a mentor. I was matched with Josh, a 13 year old boy, and began to walk with him throughout his middle and high school years. The act of becoming a mentor changed my life. Following Josh’s graduation I began to volunteer at my church, First MB, as a Mentor Coach. A year later I had the opportunity to come on staff full time at Youth Horizons.
For six years now I have had the privilege and honor to work alongside some incredible mentors, proteges, families, and an excellent mentoring team. Recently I have moved into the Mentoring Director role. We have recently added two new Mentor Coaches, Armond and Maddie, both of whom I am excited to have a part of the team. Carrie has been with us for a little over a year and has been a huge asset.
As we look towards the future, I plan to continue to grow the mentoring program in all areas; fun activities, life skill building opportunities, academic engagement, and spiritual development. What I ask from you is to keep me and the entire mentoring program in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you and God Bless!
