Michelle, 5th grade graduate

“One of the things Michelle was sad about missing due to COVID-19 was her 5th grade graduation. It was a really big thing to her and signified moving on to a new school and starting middle school. With some things from around the house, we were able to have our very own graduation! She walked into her graduation, watched a slideshow highlighting her accomplishments and qualities I admire in her, heard a speech written just for her, and received her diploma followed by a celebration complete with her very own graduation cookie cake. She claimed it was the best day ever multiple times. It was pretty simple, but seeing her face light up over being celebrated was the very best!”
