Quarterly Message: Youth Horizons President Robert Garner

 

Greetings,

I have had the unique opportunity of leading many groups of people my entire adult life, but never have I witnessed such dedication, devotion, faithfulness and selfless acts until I joined the Youth Horizons team. This team’s dedication to young people is unmatched. Their devotion to ministry exudes them. I was speaking to board member, Steve Kelly, and was reminded of Proverbs 24:10. It speaks, “If we faint in the day of adversity, our strength is small.” At Youth Horizons, we often talk about the challenges we face while serving. In those moments of adversity, we talk about being faithful; even with the small things. God continues to provide the strength we need. Hence, we show up each day, reckon with brokenness, distrust and hopelessness of many people, yet we find joy in what we call “kingdom” work. We find joy in it because we know our Savior. Please continue to pray for the staff at Youth Horizons. We appreciate you and the support you give us. May God bless and keep you in the peace He created you to experience.
