About the Boys Ranch
The Kinloch Price Boys Ranch is 77 acres of fields, woods, streams, and a ranch-style environment geared toward helping boys rebuild.
The facility was begun in 2007 and made possible by Dick and Harriet Price. It offers full-time residential care for up to 28 boys aged 10–22 on a property including administrative offices, an education center, and four homes.
Our Approach
Dedicated professionals oversee the daily education activities and impart essential life skills, like home management, personal finance, and job-related skills. We use a 4-pronged approach known as the Biopsychosocial-Spiritual model to guide youth in pursuing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellness. Residents also acquire valuable lessons in fostering healthy relationships, self-discipline, and a strong work ethic.
The average stay for a child in a Youth Horizons residence is 12 months, though some placements have lasted longer. It is our goal that Youth Horizons residential facilities be the last out-of-home placement for a child.
What We Do
Structure that restores hope.
With the residential program, our aim is to mimic a safe, Christian home environment.
Through our extended care for youth in need, we empower kids by addressing their needs with research-driven approaches.
