A Clear Vision of Service

volunteers change windows at KPBR

The first thing you see on First Evangelical Free Church’s website is the simple yet powerful phrase:

Glory – Grace – Go.

A team of men from the church lived that out at Kinloch Price Boys Ranch (KPBR) by replacing dozens of old windows across the property.

Their skilled, donated labor turned what could have been a costly capital project into a testimony of community stewardship and service. By taking on the work themselves, these volunteers created extensive, budget-stretching savings – funds that can now be redirected to tutoring, counseling, and other essential services for boys in our care.

The new windows themselves are more than a construction upgrade. They boost energy efficiency, reduce drafts, and brighten bedrooms and study spaces with natural light. For the boys at KPBR, that means warmer nights, better rest, greater focus for learning, and a renewed sense of safety within their home.

And beyond the practical benefits, each window carried a deeper meaning: that their lives matter, that the community sees them, and that they are worthy of both care and investment.

To everyone who lifted a hammer, hauled a frame, or prayed over the work: Thank You! You didn’t just install windows. You opened new views of hope for the kids at KPBR.
