Celebrating Mr. C

We are so proud to celebrate Mr. C, a resilient teen in foster care at Youth Horizons, who is set to graduate this coming Tuesday!

This milestone is especially meaningful because Mr. C has worked HARD to get here. Earlier this year – even as recently as spring conferences – he was failing multiple classes. But with determination, focus, and collaboration between Jeremy Fisher, Youth Horizons’ on-site Education Specialist and Mr. C’s school, he became the leading character in his own turnaround. His current grades? C, A, C, A, C, B, A.

What makes this even more impressive is that Mr. C knew only two of those classes were required for him to graduate. He could have coasted. Instead, he chose to finish strong.

Even if you never meet Mr. C, please take a moment to congratulate him in your prayers – not just for earning a diploma, but for showing real perseverance. We’re so proud of his grit and his growth.
