The 4 S’s Interview: Strengths Questions

4 S's Interview: Strengths

Are you ready to talk STRENGTHS? Self-belief in kids is crucial for their overall development and success. When children believe in themselves, they are more likely to take on challenges, persevere through difficulties, and pursue their goals with confidence. This inner belief fosters resilience, encouraging them to learn from mistakes rather than be discouraged by them. Self-belief also helps children develop a positive self-image, which is essential for their emotional well-being and social interactions. By nurturing self-belief, we empower children to recognize their potential, embrace their uniqueness, and navigate the world with a sense of purpose and optimism.

Use these interview questions to find out about STRENGTHS.

  1. What are some of the best things about you?
  2. What are you good at doing?
  3. Are there any values or rules that you try to live by? What do you think is important in life?

When you listen to your protégé expressing their strengths, you’re simultaneously showing them that their self-beliefs, their self-awareness, is important. It’s a chance to validate their strengths, from their own perspective. And if they struggle to identify their strengths, draw from your experience and share what you see as their strengths.
